Appointment of Director

Nviro Cleantech plc (AIM:NVR) (“Nviro” or “the Company”), a leader in commercialising ‘clean’ technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Christopher Tawney as executive director with immediate effect.

Christopher Tawney, aged 51, has been a finance director of AIM listed biodiesel producer, D1 Oils plc and brings on board ‘green’ energy and fundraising experience. Previously he was the finance director and a key member of the management team that turned around mining and resources group WBB Minerals which was a part of the Sibelco Group. He has held senior financial roles in other international groups including Lucent Technologies, Thales and Veolia. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has a degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from Cambridge University. Mr Tawney does not hold any other current directorships. In the last five years he had acted in the capacity of a director in the following companies:
